Historia de la Libreria
Librería Continental, se encuentra ubicada en el 628 Oeste de la Calle 207, uno de las pocas librerías sobrevivientes con que cuenta la Ciudad de Nueva York en español y dentro de la Comunidad en Manhattan. Siendo en todo caso una ciudad que cuenta actualmente con una población de habla española (Castellana) de más de dos millones de personas. Esta Librería cuenta con una amplia selección de libros sobre la psicología, la espiritualidad, la religión y la auto-ayuda, los que pueden ser destinados para todos los reclusos. Aparte tenemos todo tipo de libros acerca de esoterismo, teología y otros varios. El Local también vende todo tipo de inciensos especializados para la Aroma terapia, tenemos también aceites utilizados en la meditación o para aliviar el estrés. Además, la tienda realiza debates en comunidad sobre la espiritualidad y la metafísica. Se llevan a cabo presentaciones de autores y sus libros. Tenemos un servicio por correo en casa para llevar periódicos, revistas, diccionarios y muchos libros clasificados como raros, debido a su escasa publicación. Así como algunos libros en inglés, que se venden a $ 1 cada uno. Sin embargo, la tienda se centra en temas relacionados con el Bienestar de la Comunidad en Washington Heights.
